• When a medication is selected from the database, the electronic prescription form is populated with the available forms, routes of administration and strengths. If only a single option is available, it is automatically selected.
• Enter dosage and frequency information. Complex SIG’s, such as varying or tapered dosages are supported.
• Easily search for diagnosis codes via powerful searching
• Display abbreviations or full text (e.g. PO - Oral, TAB - Tablet, BID - Twice Per Day)
• Constrain selections to database values or allow free-text entry
• Check interactions with existing medications
